Safety Officers / HSE Officers

Now Hiring: Safety Officers / HSE Officers Location: Mesaieed, Qatar Duration: Up to 2029 / 2030 We are currently seeking four (4) experienced Safety / HSE Officer to support a major Oil & Gas operator company in Qatar. Requirements: ✅ Higher National Diploma (HND), OR, University Degree (preferably Engineering), OR, Accredited HSE Professional Certification ✅ Minimum 10 years of Occupational Health & Safety experience within the Oil & Gas Petrochemical industry, with exposure to greenfield and brownfield construction projects ✅ Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, safe work practices, Environmental Management Systems, and HSE procedures ✅ Experience with incident investigation software such as TapRoot, SafetyCulture, EasyRCA, Tripod Beta, or similar ✅ GCC project experience is preferred Key Responsibilities: • Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, standards, and regulations throughout project execution • Review and monitor Method Statements, JSA, Risk Assessments, PTW (Permit to Work), and contractor HSE documentation • Conduct site inspections, audits, incident investigations, toolbox talks, and HSE awareness programs • Monitor HSE performance, risk registers, corrective actions, and regulatory compliance • Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities while maintaining a strong safety culture across project teams • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project HSE requirements are met Key Skills: HSE Management, Incident Investigation, JSA & Method Statement Review, PTW Compliance, Risk Assessment, HSE Audits & Inspections, Environmental Management Systems, Construction Safety, EPIC Projects, Oil & Gas Projects
