HSE Manager (Marine/Ports)

HSE Manager (Marine/Ports) Abu Dhabi, UAE Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented HSE Manager to join our team. In this role you will lead HSE management for a major ports/marine project environment, ensuring safe execution and full compliance with project HSE requirements across marine construction and operations activities. What You'll Be Doing: - Lead and implement the project HSE management system and drive a strong safety culture across all work fronts. - Oversee contractor HSE performance, including audits, inspections, PTW compliance, RAMS review, and close-out of corrective actions. - Manage HSE risk controls for marine activities including dredging/reclamation, marine construction, and port operations/infrastructure interfaces. - Ensure compliance with applicable standards, procedures, and requirements; prepare HSE reports, KPIs, and performance updates. - Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions. - Coordinate with project leadership, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve HSE issues and maintain safe, compliant delivery. What Required Skills You'll Bring: - Bachelors degree in Engineering or Construction or a related field (or equivalent). - Minimum 15 years relevant HSE experience, with strong marine/ports project exposure. - Demonstrated experience in marine/port environments including dredging and reclamation, marine construction works, port infrastructure/operations, and marine/port equipment safety. - Professional HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, IEMA, IRCA (or equivalent). - Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
